CIS 1020 Computer Essentials - Computer & Information Literacy
Going into the class, I felt confident in my Microsoft Office skills. However, once I started the class I realized that I had much more to learn. The class was not easy like many people make it sound. There were numerous exercises and activities we had to complete. The Word Project shows the most interesting things I learned about Word, such as creating cross-references, inserting comments, and creating reference tables. The Excel Project displays the most difficult topics I studied in the class—functions. The link to my PowerPoint Project demonstrates my creativity and skill mastery, while getting to immerse myself in nostalgia. In addition to learning more about Microsoft Office programs, we also learned more about computers in general. Although I may not use all of the skills in this class frequently, you never know when something will come up. |
